# Fauj Help Center > How to use Fauj, for personal trainers and their clients. https://fauj.co.in/help ## Get started as a trainer (trainer) URL: https://fauj.co.in/help/trainer/get-started Answers: How do I start using Fauj? What do I do first? How does Fauj work for trainers? Three steps take you from a new account to getting paid: invite a client, publish a plan, request a payment. Your Clients tab shows a Get started list until you've done all three steps. Tap the button beside a step to jump to it. Invite your first client with a WhatsApp link. Build and publish a plan for them. Request a payment, and they pay you directly by UPI. The five tabs at the bottom are Clients, Calendar, Progress, Payments and Profile. Most of your work starts from a client's page on the Clients tab. Short tips appear as you reach each screen. Tap Got it to dismiss one, or Show me how for the full steps. To see them again, tap Show tips again on Profile. The ? at the top of any screen opens Master, your help chat. ## Invite a client (trainer) URL: https://fauj.co.in/help/trainer/invite-a-client Answers: How do I add a client? How does a client join? Can I invite someone on WhatsApp? What if the invite link has expired? Create a link, send it on WhatsApp, and your client joins with their email. On the Clients tab, tap Invite client. Add their first name. Their mobile is optional, but WhatsApp reminders need it. Fill in the starting profile if you know it. Otherwise they'll be asked when they join. Tap Create invite link, then Share on WhatsApp. Each link works once. Until your client joins, the invite stays on your Clients tab, where you can Share on WhatsApp again, Copy link or Cancel invite. During the pilot, you can have up to 5 clients. ## Build a workout plan (trainer) URL: https://fauj.co.in/help/trainer/build-a-plan Answers: How do I make a workout plan? How do I add exercises? Are there workout templates? Why can't my client see the plan? How do I publish a plan? Start from a template, a blank plan or one of your own plans, add exercises, then publish so your client can see it. On the Clients tab, open your client, then tap Build a plan. Name the plan, and choose how many weeks and the start date. Choose where to start: one of your own plans, a template, or Blank plan. Then tap Create plan. In the plan builder, tap Add session and pick a day. Tap Add exercise and choose from the library. It's filtered to your client's equipment. Fill in sets, reps and weight, then tap Save week. Tap Publish this week (or Publish all). Your client sees nothing until you publish. To repeat work you've already done, see Copy a workout or a plan. ## Copy a workout or a plan (trainer) URL: https://fauj.co.in/help/trainer/copy-workouts Answers: Can I copy a workout? Can I duplicate a session? Can I reuse a plan for another client? Can I copy a week? How do I repeat last week's workouts? Yes, you can copy. Copy one session to another day, a whole week to the next week, or a whole plan to any client. Copy one session to another day In the plan builder, find the session and tap Copy. Pick the day. The copy appears on that day. Tap Save week to keep it. Copy a whole week Tap Copy to next week at the bottom of the plan builder. Then change the copy to progress your client. Sessions already logged in the next week stay as they are. Copy a plan to another client Open the other client, then tap Build a plan (or Start a new plan). Under Copy one of your plans, pick the plan. Set the start date and tap Create plan. You get a separate draft to edit. The original plan and its client aren't affected. Nothing reaches the new client until you publish. ## Change a plan after publishing (trainer) URL: https://fauj.co.in/help/trainer/edit-a-published-plan Answers: Can I edit a plan after publishing? Can I change a client's workout? Can I change the plan's format? Can I add more weeks? Why can't I change a session? Edit any week, and your client keeps seeing the old version until you publish the changes. Open your client and tap Edit plan. Make your changes and tap Save changes. Your client still sees the published week. Tap Publish changes when they should see it, or Discard changes to go back. Add weeks: tap + Week. A plan can have up to 12. Move to a different format: tap Change format, pick a template and the week it starts from. Sessions marked Logged · locked can't change, because your client has done them. Tap Copy to make an editable copy. ## Start a new plan for a client (trainer) URL: https://fauj.co.in/help/trainer/start-a-new-plan Answers: What happens when a plan ends? Can a client have a second plan? Can I see old plans? Does a new plan delete my client's logs? When a plan ends or needs replacing, start a new one. Your client stays on the old plan until you publish the new one. Open your client and tap Start a new plan. Build it, or copy an earlier plan under Copy one of your plans. It stays a draft. Use Continue building to come back to it. Publish it. Fauj asks you to confirm, because it replaces the current plan. The old plan moves to Past plans on the client's page. Sessions already logged stay in their history. ## Log a workout for your client (trainer) URL: https://fauj.co.in/help/trainer/log-for-a-client Answers: Can I log a session for my client? Can I enter the workout while training them? Can I edit a log? How do I count PT sessions for billing? Coaching in person? Log the session for your client from their page or from the calendar. On the Clients tab, open your client. Tap Log today's workout at the top. It shows when today has a planned session in a published plan. Enter what they did and finish the workout. Once logged, the button lets you edit that log. The same button appears on a session you open from the Calendar on the day of the session. Further down the page, Payments shows how many PT and self sessions they did this month, to help you bill. ## Book sessions on the calendar (trainer) URL: https://fauj.co.in/help/trainer/book-sessions Answers: How do I schedule a session? Can I book recurring sessions? Can I move or cancel a session? How does a client confirm? Can I block my own time? Book one session or a weekly series. Your client gets a WhatsApp link to confirm. Open the Calendar tab and tap Book session. Choose the client, date, start time and length. For a regular slot, tick Repeat weekly. Fauj books 4 sessions at a time, and your client confirms all 4 at once. Tap Book and send, then Send on WhatsApp. Change a session: tap it on the calendar, then Move or Cancel. Weekly series running out: tap Renew next 4 on the session. Block your own time: on the Book session screen, choose Personal. ## Request a payment (trainer) URL: https://fauj.co.in/help/trainer/request-payment Answers: Can I request payment from a client? How do I bill a client? How do I send an invoice? Does Fauj take a cut? How do clients pay me? Yes, you can request payment. Fauj makes an invoice with your UPI ID, and your client pays you directly. Tap Request payment on the Payments tab, or on your client's page. Pick the client, then add the amount, what it's for and the due date. The first time, add your UPI ID. Fauj saves it to your profile. Tap Send request, then Share on WhatsApp to tell them. Your client sees the invoice under Payments in Fauj, with buttons for their UPI apps. Can I download an invoice? Does Fauj make invoices? Does the PDF have a UPI QR code? Yes, every invoice has a PDF. Tap Send PDF or Download PDF on the invoice. Open the Payments tab, or your client's page. On the invoice, tap Send PDF on a phone, or Download PDF on a laptop. On a phone, More has Download PDF too, and Share invoice sends the details as a WhatsApp message. How do I mark an invoice paid? Can I undo mark paid? Can I cancel an invoice? Does Fauj know when someone has paid? Send a polite WhatsApp reminder, then mark the invoice paid once the money arrives. Remind: tap Remind on WhatsApp. Fauj writes the message; you send it. Reminders need the client's mobile number, which you can add under Client details on their page. Mark paid: Fauj can't see your UPI account, so you confirm payment yourself. Tap Mark paid, add a reference if you like, and confirm. Made a mistake: tap Undo paid on the invoice. Cancel: tap More, then Cancel invoice. Your client will no longer see it. ## See how your clients are doing (trainer) URL: https://fauj.co.in/help/trainer/see-client-progress Answers: How do I know if my client is following the plan?
